What is Happening in Lebanon.
Lebanon has faced multiple catastrophes in its long history but continues to endure. The 2020 explosion, economic and political crises, and 2023/2024 war are challenging every aspect of Lebanon’s survival. The Lebanese and refugees in Lebanon are living in difficult conditions with access to basic needs unmet. People in Lebanon cannot afford the costs of healthcare and the stigma behind mental health leaves many conditions unaddressed.
How We’re Helping in Lebanon.
Heal Beirut was founded by Lebanese expatriates after the August 4th, 2020 Beirut Port explosion with the intent to provide free remote services to victims within Lebanon through a variety of means. We are first and foremost focused on the short and long term wellbeing of the Lebanese people throughout these devastating times and beyond.
Heal Beirut has gathered an extensive network of healthcare professionals across the United States in various fields providing unlimited free services to those within Lebanon. These professionals have been volunteering their time to support our brothers and sisters in Lebanon.
